Since 1935, the Stanford Speakers Bureau has been dedicated to organizing, funding, and hosting speaking events on campus. Our mission is to inspire students and to spark conversations among both undergraduate and graduate communities. In the past two years, we have brought prominent speakers such as Trevor Noah, John Boehner, Common, Jad Abumrad, and Tony Schwartz to campus. In addition, Stanford Speakers Bureau provides financial, logistical, and marketing support to help student organizations put on their own events. This year, we provided necessary funding and event planning support to 17 undergraduate and graduate organizations (and counting!) The Stanford Speakers Bureau asks for your vote to continue this tradition of bringing truly impactful speakers to campus.
Our cosponsorships this year include: Asian American Theater Project, Autism Speaks U Stanford, Black Law Students Association, GSB Africa Business Club, Institute for Diversity in the Arts, LGBT-CRC Flourish/QuEST, iThrive, People for Animal Welfare, Pilipino American Student Union, Stanford Concert Network, Stanford in Government, Stanford Sanskriti, Stanford Space Initiative, Stanford Women in Politics, The Women's Coalition, Venezuelan Student Association.
